The project takes "天地醫道" as the core design concept and the connotation of modern Chinese medicine as the starting point to create a modern Chinese medicine hospital that integrates the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and the functional characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine hospital. Traditional Chinese medicine hospital is different from general hospital and Western medicine hospital in that it has not only the treatment function for patients, but also the health care, acupuncture and massage, preventive health care and other characteristic derivative functions for healthy and sub-healthy people. Traditional Chinese medicine takes the theory of yin and Yang and five elements and the monism of Qi as the philosophical basis, and the holistic view of "heaven and man correspond" as the guiding ideology, forming a medical theoretical system of syndrome differentiation and treatment. Drawing design inspiration from the traditional wisdom of Chinese traditional Chinese medicine that emphasizes the integration of Tai Chi and Yin and Yang, the hospital integrates the buildings, landscape and surrounding environment by connecting the urban landscape green belt and the traditional Chinese medicine culture square and ecological garden in the hospital, and creates a green, healthy and beautiful "healing space" with traditional Chinese medicine cultural characteristics for patients.
